My Story

Hi! My name is Daisy and I am an American student pursuing a Masters degree at Durham!

One of my family members, who I love dearly and respect deeply, has prostate cancer. I have watched as he handles his treatments, takes his medications, and experiences many side effects. Despite life looking differently, I can rely on his humor and sharp wit to put a smile on my face. I am running this Half for many reasons but a main one is for him and in the hope that, one day, prostate cancer will have a quick and painless solution.
